Our Supporting Customers:

Backyard Bees honey tastes like flowers from your own backyard. Honey color and flavor are determined by the variety of blooming native and ornamental plants each season.

Some honey is very sweet and floral, while other harvests are darker and have hints of caramel or pepper.

Our local atisanal honey is treatment free, uncapped by hand and gravity strained. Never heated or filtered. Raw honey has incrediable antiseptic, antioxidant and cleansing properties for our body and health.

Eating local honey may help relieve pollen allergy symptoms.

Honey, Fall 2014  Honey, Spring 2015

Each Honeybee makes 1/12th of a teaspoon of Honey in her entire life and one pound of Honey is the life's work of approximately 768 bees! That is incredible!

Honey is stored in comb, build of wax, and is also capped with a wax to prevent it from spoiling. As long as Honey does not experience prolonged exposure to oxygen or water, it will last forever!

Backyard Bees Honeybees are allowed to build honey stores at their own pace, naturally and without food and sugar supplements.
